See Your Dog Inside the Crate in 3D Before You Buy

Choosing the size is the hardest part of buying a crate online. A photo can't tell you whether a 60 lb Lab will turn around comfortably, and the houses are built to order, so we would rather you get it right the first time. That is why every product page has a live 3D view.
- The 3D view draws the house at real scale and your dog at the breed's standard height, adjusted to the weight you enter.
- Size 1 suits 5 to 24 lb, Size 2 25 to 49 lb and Size 3 50 to 89 lb on the Gabled and Pueblo; the Lakota takes dogs up to 48 lb.
- Two dogs can be drawn side by side on the cushion, and each size shows whether they fit.
- The Drawing tab gives the outside width, depth and height and the door opening.
How it works
1. Tell us about your dog
Pick a breed from the list or type your dog's adult weight. The page suggests a size for that weight:
- Size 1 for 5 to 24 lb
- Size 2 for 25 to 49 lb
- Size 3 for 50 to 89 lb
The Lakota runs smaller: up to 48 lb across its three sizes. Two dogs? Add the second dog's breed and weight: both are drawn side by side on the cushion, and each size shows whether they fit.
2. See them inside
Open the 3D tab. The house is drawn at real scale; the dog at the breed's standard height, adjusted to the weight you enter. Turn the house with a finger or your mouse, and open the door. You see the headroom and the space around your dog, not a guess.
3. Compare sizes
Switch between Size 1, 2 and 3. The dog stays the same and the house changes around them. One size up is fine if you have the room; a smaller size is not recommended.
4. Check the numbers, then your room
- The Drawing tab shows the measured drawing: outside width, depth and height, and the door opening.
- On iPhone and iPad, tap View in your room on the Gabled to place it in your room through the camera, at real size.
- Measure your spot and add a hand's width around the house.

Why we built it
Many crate pages give you one set of outside dimensions and a weight range. That leaves out what matters: how much room your dog has inside. Our sizes are measured from the same production drawings we cut the panels from. Width and depth are shared by the Gabled, Pueblo and Lakota at each size, so a space you measure once works for any shape.

A quick reference
| Size | Dogs (Gabled, Pueblo) | Outside W × D | Height (Gabled / Pueblo) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 5 to 24 lb | 28.1 × 20.4 in | 24.8 / 22.1 in |
| 2 | 25 to 49 lb | 37.4 × 26.8 in | 33.1 / 29.5 in |
| 3 | 50 to 89 lb | 44.8 × 31.9 in | 39.6 / 34.8 in |
